Melissa Oosterwolde is a Dutch fashion designer with a Surinamese background.

In 2002, Melissa and her mother started a beauty salon together. From 2005 onward, Melissa held sole ownership of the business. When Melissa was young, she didn't know exactly what she wanted to be, but she knew one thing for sure: "I'm going to be my own boss."

Melissa is a certified hairstylist and makeup artist and studied at the Mieke Petiet School in Amsterdam. In 2010, she was selected for the Gruppo Select masterclass. From that moment on, she continued to develop her creativity and passion for fashion. After completing the masterclass, she was accepted into the Artemis Academy, where she completed her Styling & Design program.

With her beauty background combined with her knowledge and experience in fashion, she believes it's important to use her expertise to help people bring out the best in themselves. She draws inspiration from the fashions of the past, combined with contemporary styles and a touch of her exotic heritage.
