From the very beginning of Melissa Oosterwolde, we've chosen to produce 65% of our collection in the Netherlands. Why this choice? The answer is simple: by bringing production closer to home, we not only reduce the distance our creations have to travel but also invest directly back into our local economy.

This change not only results in shorter transport routes, significantly reducing the environmental footprint of our collection, but it also allows us to minimize waste. By closely monitoring and localizing production processes, we reduce unnecessary overproduction and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Less transport means lower CO2 emissions. By keeping the majority of our production in the Netherlands, we reduce the environmental impact of international shipping. This is not only good for our planet, but it also contributes to achieving our climate protection goals.
